Aweta offers a wide range of innovative solutions in the field of fruit and vegetable sorting:
POWERVISION & PROSORT 3D
It is a unique camera system for automated sorting of apples, tomatoes and citrus fruits.
• At a time when the product is moving and rotating under the camera, images are taken at four different angles.
• A three-dimensional product model is created from the information obtained.
• Contrast filters calculate the location of defects in product sunspots. This is accomplished with a combined image using visible and infrared radiation.
• The stalk and calyx are determined.
• The color and diameter of the product are set.
• Defect types are determined using more than 100 stored properties.
• The product is sorted according to the quality classes, depending on the parameters specified by the operator.
Inscan IQA
Analyzer of internal quality. A non-destructive sensor designed to measure, during processing, the sugar content of fruits such as apples, stone fruit and oranges.
The IQA system uses an infrared glow sensor to detect the internal quality of the fruit:
• Soluble solids content [% Brix]
• Watery
• Internal darkening
• Acidity
• Ripeness / maturity
• Water content / juiciness
• Internal defects
The IQA system can handle all kinds of products, such as stone fruits, citrus fruits, kiwi, apples, etc.
